This a good book for a book talk?

Ello!! I'm a totally bad reader (i don't read thick books (fail, i know)) so I need your help. Do you guys think this book is good for a book talk? I'm clueless. I've heard it's funny, and I may be interested. SOS!!

    Princess Academy! A Newberry Honor book, I absolutely love it!

    The Tales of Emily Windsnap is a good series and you should read it if you like mermaids.
